I have said it before , couture , designer pieces , are works of art – that is the reason I seek out vintage pieces .
The renowned Corsicana artist , Nancy Rebal , attended an event in a magnificent coat : vintage , Pauline Trigere , and proudly opened the coat , with a flourish , I might add , to show off the designer ’ s signature – the very one , famous for the “ cut ” of a garment .
I have worked for some the most talented designers in the world and am forever grateful for that opportunity .

I have one of many dresses , she sewed for me as a child – she sewed for all her children – hanging on display in my bedroom .
