Since it opened its doors in 2011 , nine years ago , Hometown Pharmacy has put its focus on helping patients live healthier and happier lives .
“ Each of our patientsis a part of our Hometown Pharmacy family and we try very hard to help our patients with any medical needsthey might have ,” Sladecek said . “ If they need an immunization for the flu or to attend school , pneumonia orshingles vaccination we can help them with that .”
If patients need information about medications , health conditions or over the counter productsthe staff of Hometown Pharmacy can help . The pharmacy also has medicalsupplieslike walkers , crutches and shower benches or we can special order them for patients . For patients whose doctor has ordered a medication be compounded , pharmacists can make it for them in Hometown Pharmacy ’ s compounding lab .
“ We often help our patients and physicians with getting insurance approval for medications or finding affordable alternative solutionsfor the patient ’ s condition ,” Sladecek said .
Owners Vance and Angela Oglesbee give the credit for Best Pharmacy win to the wonderful staff at Hometown Pharmacy , who strive each day to help patients become healthier and to make this uncertain time with the COVID-19 pandemic a little lessstressful .
