Clifton Library Prompt: Design a library for the Clifton community geared for the 21st century. Determine a program and design that unites the community, ties to local architecture, and engages the pedestrian within a volume of 25,000 square feet. Time Frame: 2 months, Spring 2012 Synopsis: Our team of 3 focused on designing a modern building that blended into the site with its shell. We incorporated a Hyposurface system and space frames that hung brick venerr as sun shading. The interior focused on creating atriums and designating levels for circulation and gathering.
