SEARCHING FOR A PETROLEUM
GEOSCIENCE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY?

In the summer of 2020, we will continue to offer intern projects aimed at solving challenges
that the petroleum industry is facing. Our global intern program will take place in our Abingdon
(UK), Bangalore (India), Beijing (China), and Houston (U.S.) offices. We are, therefore, seeking to
recruit talent with a background in geoscience, data science, computer science, and petroleum
engineering. We are looking for innovative self-starters with the ability to effectively express
ideas to team members, project stakeholders, and management.
• Candidates MUST be eligible to work in the area(s) they apply to.
• Candidates MUST be registered in school with a completion date later than the end
of August 2020 (open to those pursuing a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, or a PhD).

The Landmark University Grants

Halliburton Landmark provides open and innovative
digital solutions for the exploration and production
industry, to drive the digital transformation. Our
oil and gas digital twin incorporates rigorous and
robust science, empowering users to succeed.
Landmark has made significant investments in
academic engagements. These have helped
to foster mutually beneficial relationships with
universities, driving innovation, generating
intellectual property, delivering research results,
and enhancing industry-wide capabilities.
Landmark’s University Grant Program actively
identifies and develops academic relations
by providing Landmark software to academic
institutions for learning and teaching. The program
fosters strategic academic relationships and
supports education and research by contributing
software to more than 200 universities worldwide.
The University Grants Program aims to strengthen
academic-industry links, and improve research
outcomes. It exposes students and faculty
members to industry-standard software capabilities,
making students more aware of interpretation
possibilities, and more readily employable.
The software solutions provided by Halliburton
Landmark include a number of programs related
to Earth Sciences and Petroleum Engineering,
which provide an opportunity for students to
apply scientific and theoretical principles gained
in the classroom to real-world scenarios.
