To support the promotion of positive

health for the many poor left-behind
children in both town and rural areas of
Guangzhou.

Project Opportunities:
Students will learn more about the
different societies in Mainland China,
the problem of left-behind children,
and also the development and delivery
of child education for different social
• Enrich the teaching curriculum and design education activities for
the whole person development of children, especially on those
subjects unavailable in local schools, such as physical and mental
health, sex, life safety, arts, music, dance and English.
• Prepare course handouts, teaching tools and materials.
• Deliver the lessons and activities in village schools for
about 2 weeks.
• Test the lesson and activity design in real situation
and improve them.
• Listen to the children, understand and respond to
their needs throughout the process.
• Bring the experience back to Hong Kong.
• Conduct other suitable observation and social
studies on site.
