Experiential Learning Project Profile ADVOCACY OF CHILD WELFARE GH06-009 and engagement of professionals for opinion exchange Our Social Mission: To mobilize the community to make a bigger voice for helping the children in adversity. Student Learning: Student will learn about child welfare issues and develop leadership, communication and analytical skills through actively engaging with stakeholders from a diversity of backgrounds, including the university counterparts, Mother’s Choice staff and child welfare professionals. Project Opportunities: • Organize awareness-raising activities on campus to introduce social issues on child welfare, promote the provision of care and support to children in need of permanent homes and to young girls facing crisis pregnancy, and advocate the building stronger families in the community. • Prepare an event that gathers professionals of diverse disciplines to exchange opinions and experiences, and then conduct research to further explore their perceptions on child welfare.
