Since 2006 Spur Creative have been turning ideas into reality, creating high-quality props, models and sculptures for some of the most iconic brands, well-known events, experiences and themed attractions.
From giant waving pigs to miniature movie characters, the world of creativity at Spur knows no bounds. From a small unit in Mayfield, East Sussex, the company soon outgrew its premises and grew its talented team, now based in Kent only 20 minutes from the M25 with a 4000 square foot purpose-built workshop the company continues to flourish working for clients both nationally and internationally. The friendly team of designers, prop makers and painters have a wealth of experience between them. With a diverse skill set, Spur’ s experts are adept at working with a wide range of materials, incorporating traditional methods, such as clay sculpting, with more modern techniques like 3D printing. Their collaborative Spirit and attention to detail ensures that every project not only meets but exceeds expectations.
A Recent standout project for the company was to create an oversized Nissan Qashqai car that was to be placed on the side of the Truman Brewery
Chimney in London. With just six weeks to complete the job, the dedicated team transformed six CNC cut poly sections into a stunning glossy red masterpiece. Each section was coated in fibreglass and bonded together encapsulating a robust metal structure within the car; the structure was then bolted onto the large frame that sat underneath. After a beautiful bright red paint job, the finishing touches were added, lights, wheels and 3D printed parts that really brought the car to life.
