Chairman ’ s Foreword .
I
t ’ s with great pleasure to welcome you to the 2022 edition of the Experience UK Annual Guide . Having chaired Experience UK for the past two years , I have witnessed the tremendous challenges the pandemic brought to the sector , and the resilience it has showed to revitalise , and come back stronger .
Though COVID 19 may still loom for quite sometime , the past year has certainly been more promising . Physical expos and tradeshows have made a long-awaited return , a pivotal resource to ensure companies are making the vital connections to achieve export wins .
Meanwhile , with the welcome return of domestic and international travel , along with easing of social distancing measures have seen visitor numbers rise once again . Allowing museum and attractions to garner confidence and look forward , after the unprecedented , and challenging period .
The UK is highly valued for having one of the best Creative Industries internationally , and one that many countries and regions are keen to do business with .
The Guide provides details of the wealth of UK firms whose next-generation products and services are ready to steer a prosperous and sustainable future for the field .
By reading through , you will find a diverse range of companies , including architects , creative & brand designers , fitout specialists , guest app technology specialists and everything in between . Many are already well-established players , having partnered with some of the most prestigious museums and attractions internationally . While others are offering a new sphere of creativity and innovation , ready and waiting to break-ground in the visitor experience sector .
A wealth of opportunity awaits experience economy companies , and I am confident the UK will continue to play a pivotal role in the evolution of the sector around the world .
