Teaming up with SK Telecom , Google and the Cultural Heritage Administration , Nexus Studios created a first of its kind AR tour experience , offering visitors the chance to discover the hidden past at UNESCO world-heritage site , Changdeokgung Palace in Korea .
Built in 1405 by the Joseon Dynasty , the site attracts more than 18 million visitors each year and is a major source of cultural pride for Korean people . Over 10,000 of these annual visitors have physical disabilities but with preservation a key factor , there are still difficult to access areas within the Palace grounds .
