Housed in old World War II Nissen buildings next to the Kent & East Sussex Railway with glorious views over the rolling Kentish countryside , this is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of local beer at the onsite Taproom .

A bold , eye-catching building at the heart of Ashford ’ s town centre , The Curious Brewery makes a statement about the Kentish brewing scene . Having won several awards , it ’ s quite apparent that the team are dedicated to producing exceptional beer and cider . Visit the brewery ’ s taproom and sample some of the award-winning tipples and enjoy a bite to eat from the kitchen . They even have a private dining room for formal events .
Old Dairy ’ s branding has become well recognised across the region , popular amongst locals and beer lovers alike – look out for the nostalgic play on coloured bottle tops for each beer paying reference to milk tops . Using only the finest malts and hops to brew the beers here , the majority of beers are brewed using English hops sourced from Hukins Hops in Biddenden . Many of the beers are well known Kent varieties such as Challenger , Goldings and Fuggles . A firm favourite and found all over Kent , Red Top boasts delicious toffee flavours with a hint of coffee , or for something a little paler , go Uber – full-bodied with a strong floral aroma .
