highest number of young citizens,
supported by the expanding venue
space.
India has a consolidated space of
about 500,000sqm and is home to
25 purpose-built venues including
IEML, BIEC, HITEX, BEC, Pragati
Maidan, JECC, Helipad and Chennai
Trade Centre. More than 12 new
venues, such as IICC, Dwarka, and
expansion of existing venues in
New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore,
Ahmedabad, Pune and others,
will ensure that the MICE space in
India grows rapidly over the next
few years. The expanding venue
space will feed in to supporting
the achievement of a double-digit
growth for the exhibition industry
very soon.
The unprecedented
infrastructure growth is well
augmented by the supportive
government policies in terms of
ease of doing business, liberal FDI
policies, streamlined visa processes
and numerous reforms brought in
to support the corporate world.
This special supplement is
published, in conjunction with
Exhibition World, to bring new
awareness about the Indian
exhibition industry which invites
global players to bring their shows
to our country.
In India, we are known for
our hospitality, culture and rich
traditions, with a high sense of
business and all this combined
will surely make for a wonderful
experience for your shows and the
participants.
We hope this publication will
provide you deep insights into the
Indian exhibition industry and
support your plans to bring your
