Krasnodar is the administrative centre of the Krasnodar Region and sits approximately 100km from the Black Sea . As of 1 January , 2021 , the population of the Region was 5,683,947 , including 948,827 people in the city itself .

Main specialised venues The Expograd YUG Exhibition and Congress Complex offers four indoor exhibition pavilions with a total area of 51,100sqm and an 11,000sqm entrance unit building . There are two outdoor areas covering 20,800sqm and which offer parking space for 2,400 cars . The congress facilities include several halls with seating capacities ranging from 55 to 382 . There are seven additional meeting rooms and a food court .
WTC-Krasnodar WTC-Krasnodar houses well equipped conference halls with capacities for 40 , 80 , 150 people .
