ExpoPlatform signs three-year deal with IMEX
MEX Group has agreed
I a three-year partnership with UK-based event tech provider ExpoPlatform as official event tech partner following IMEX America 2023 . Prior to the October show , Gary Coombs , CIO of the IMEX Group , said : “ Changing one of the most fundamental systems IMEX uses was a huge task , but ExpoPlatform has an innate understanding of our requirements as a trade show organiser .”

At IMEX America 83,000 meetings took place . Of 15,029 participants , 5,364 were buyers and 3,443 were individual exhibiting companies .
Hopin Events becomes RingCentral Events
RingCentral , Inc . a provider of AI-first global enterprise cloud communications , video meetings , and more , has announced the transformation of Hopin Events into RingCentral Events .
According to the company , the new international brand is designed to be immersive and personalised .
" The world of events has dramatically changed over the past few years , and businesses have an opportunity to approach events in new and inventive ways that deliver unprecedented levels of engagement ,” said Kristen Koenig , head of channel and business partnerships , RingCentral Events .
“ RingCentral Events will include AI-infused capabilities to drive smarter event experiences for both organisers and attendees .”

• Native registration , analytics , mobile app , check-in , badge printing , and lead retrieval , 40 + app and data integrations
• Custom branded event pages , including templates .
• Scaling
• AI-based features , including content creation and organisation .
The announcement follows the aquisition of Hopin ’ s assets by RingCentral earlier this year .
Eventsforce launches mobile app for event planners
Eventsforce , powered by Simpleview , has released the Eventsforce mobile app . According to the company , the mobile app was designed to give users everything needed to drive attendee participation and build lasting relationships while reducing reliance on the traditional paper programme guide .
The app is catered to attendees , exhibitors , sponsors , organisers through features including :
• Integration with all major AMS / CRM and event management systems
• Mobile and desktop access .
• QR code scanning features
• Engagement with other attendees and sponsors
• Controlling branding , content , menus , and more
• Lead scanning for exhibitors and sponsors
• Revenue-generation and analytics reporting .
