Stepping outside the world of aviation , no discussion of AsiaWorld- Expo can miss 2025 ’ s headline event . UFI , the global association for the exhibition industry , has announced that Hong Kong will host its 92nd Global Congress – with the Greater Bay Area seeing exciting activations .
The 92nd edition will be the first time that the event has returned to the Asia-Pacific region since 2019 .

However , in UFI ’ s almost centurylong existence , Hong Kong has only hosted once : in the year 2000 .

UFI ’ s Global Congress provides delegates with a multiple-day opportunity to network with international connections from over 85 countries and engage with experts through a programme of content . Taking place every November , the Congress tours important event and exhibition locations around the world . 2023 ’ s edition is due to take place in Las Vegas , followed by Cologne in 2024 . Other recent hosts have included Shanghai , Rotterdam , and Johannesburg .
UFI president Michael Duck commented : “ The UFI Global Congress will conclude a multi-year tour through the world ’ s leading exhibition markets in 2025 – after the USA in 2023 and Germany in 2024 , Hong Kong will take the global UFI community to Greater China .
