Global Snapshot Egypt - International organiser Tarsus Group has announced the launch of a new division – Tarsus Egypt. The division has been formed as a joint- venture partnership with Amr Shawki, Chairman of local organiser Egytec. Tarsus Egypt will create a new B2B events platform for local and international customers to build partnerships in the Egyptian and North African markets. Visitor’s to Russia’s events and cultural capital can now complete an online process on the website of the consular department of the Russian Foreign Ministry to apply for an eight-day visa. The application can be made no later than four and no earlier than 20 days before the expected date of entry. Japan - Japan has opened a new venue, the Aichi Sky Expo International Exhibition Centre. The 80,000sqm space is located in the metropolitan area of Nagoya, Japan’s fourth largest city. The Mayor of Nagoya was in attendance at the venue’s opening ceremony. The country has also welcomed its largest single temporary hospitality structure ever, installed by Arena.
