F successful addition of agencies and brands entering both live exhibition projects and virtual / digital event activations , the 2022 shortlist illustrates how major brands have taken the opportunity to return to key events globally .
The projects that have been submitted and chosen as finalists this year are a barometer of how the global exhibition industry is recovering and delivering well attended events that brands are using to reconnect with their customers . This is backed up by an increased amount of live submissions for brands at major events such as CES 2022 , Mobile World Congress 2021 and DSEI 2021 . All in all , the judges have been presented with a wonderful collection of stands and digital projects to appreciate .
“ It is clear the global industry is still facing huge challenges while it recovers from the damaging effect of the pandemic , but it ’ s really promising to hear how busy the market place is now . The 2022 entries are great examples of how creative solutions at live events are better than ever .” said Lisa Farnfield , campaign manager - World Exhibition Stand Awards . “ All the finalists fully deserve to celebrate being listed in the shortlist . The winning projects will be announced and celebrated in September .”
