After a 2-year construction Hungexpo Budapest is getting ready for the grand reopening in September , to welcome exhibitors and visitors to Budapest ’ s fully renewed Congress and Exhibition Center .
Gábor Ganczer CEO said companies , both exhibitors and visitors are very much looking forward to attending again wellregulated business events .
He further says : ” As of September events will return to our refurbished and rejuvenated venue . In the autumn , we will host the International Eucharistic Congress and the inagural international exhibition of the new complex will be ’ One With Nature ’ World of Hunting and Nature Exhibition planned 25 September -

During the pandemic , Hungexpo Budapest , a GL events site , has been undergoing a EUR 170m expansion and refurbishment project , INCLUDING THE EXPANSION OF THE EXHIBITION
SPACE resulting a total of 60.000sqm total indoor space BY ADDING TWO NEW EXHIBITION HALLS of 5700 and 7300sqm .
The three-level state-of-the-art congress centre includes a 2,000pax auditorium and three dozen smaller meeting rooms , plus a 2,500sqm expo area and a rooftop terrace .
With the two new exhibition halls and the congress centre HUNGEXPO is becoming the largest multifunctional exhibition and congress venue in Central Eastern Europe . www . hungexpo . hu
