Toronto ’ s Exhibition Place adds the Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge to its roster of sustainable initiatives
A new signee of the Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge takes the form of Exhibition Place , a venue located on the shores of Lake Ontario , Toronto , Canada .
The entertainment venue joins the ranks of businesses and destinations committed to creating a sustainable future for the tourism industry , already including the likes of Destination Sherbrooke , Ottawa Tourism , and Fairmont Le Château Montebello . In signing the pledge , Exhibition Place aims to reaffirm its commitment to improving the sustainability performance of its business between now and 2030 – in line with the UN ’ s Sustainable Development Goals .
Enhancing its annual targets for all aspects of the venue ’ s operations is also in the gameplan for improving Exhibition Place ’ s sustainability – from infrastructure developments all the way to how events are managed .
