India International Convention and Expo Centre ( IICC )

India International Convention and Expo Centre ( IICC ) is a flagship project of the Government of India , being built in Dwarka , Sector 25 , New Delhi , India , to create an infrastructure ecosystem with a vision of developing MICE Industry on a scale . As IICC Project is funded by the Government of India [ approx . USD 4 Billion ], the completion of IICC construction ( Phase-I ) is expected to be achieved in the middle of 2022 . Once IICC Venue becomes complete in 2022 , it will be operated by KINEXIN Convention Management Private Limited which is the consortium led by KINTEX [ Korea International Exhibition Center ].
IICC will have 5 exhibition halls with more than 240,000m2 ( indoor ), and currently , Hall 1 and 2 measuring 60,000m2 are under construction as part of Phase-I . Each hall is dividable into 4 different exhibition

halls where 4 separate exhibitions can be held simultaneously . Hall 3 was originally planned for Phase-II , however , to maximize the size of indoor exhibition area for Phase-I , the Indian Government ’ s recently approved the construction of Hall 3 , a double-deck structure , which will add approx . 60,000m2 to current Hall 1 and 2 . To highlight the major features of Exhibition Halls , the floor loading capacity of each hall is 5 tons / m2 and ceiling height reaches 16-meter clear that allows trade fairs which showcase heavy and tall equipment for construction , manufacturing , automobile , defense , and others . Additionally , land currently planned for Phase-II , including Hall 4 and 5 , will be utilized as outdoor exhibition ground ( approx . 240,000 m2 ).
IICC , also , will have have a 7-story convention centre measuring 60,000m2 . It will present India ’ s largest auditorium with a capacity of 6,000 people along with the grand ballroom with a capacity of 3,000 . Furthermore , convention centre has 15 conference rooms which will provide efficient and optimal spaces for business meetings with cutting-edge conference equipment and security system . IICC ensures to provide professional conference spaces for either physical or hybrid ( digital ) meetings .
Furthermore , IICC has locational benefits since the venue is only 10-minute drive from IGI Airport , and Aerocity , a hub welcoming international business travelers and stop-over tourists along with 17 deluxe hotels with more than 3,600 rooms . Moreover , IICC will be positioned as a major business , transit , and entertainment hub since it will have an excellent connectivity from and to all part of India .
