Louisa Daley takes a look at Hilton Yas Island , one of Abu Dhabi ' s finest five-star hotels which is located in the centre of the region ' s top attractions
“ The hotel is just 10 minutes from some of the region ’ s top attractions and even provides its guests with complimentary theme park access .” ebruary 2021 saw a new addition to the Hilton Hotel portfolio . The Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island has approximately 545 rooms , including 59 suites and is located on the waterfront of Yas Bay ’ s three-kilometre-long promenade .
The hotel is just 10 minutes from some of the region ’ s top attractions and even provides its guests with complimentary theme park access .
These passes are available for any room category , giving all guests access to either Ferrari World Abu Dhabi , Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi or Warner Bros . World Abu Dhabi throughout their stay . The hotel is also housed next to Etihad Arena , Abu Dhabi ’ s largest multi-purpose indoor event arena ( see page 15 ).
For event organisers , the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island can offer 2,439 sqm of event space , with its Yas Grand meeting room offering the largest area : 1,429 sqm .
These spaces are easily accessible and situated on one level , completed with a dedicated delegate entrance .
With its very own multi-purpose conference centre , 20 meeting rooms , two ballrooms , an outdoor courtyard and 900 sqm of foyer space to choose from , the hotel can host a variety of events , no matter how big or small .

The Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island has also been designed with Hilton ’ s ‘ Travel with Purpose 2030 Goals ’ in mind , which aims to cut the company ’ s environmental footprint in half by 2030 .
For example , the hotel ’ s lighting automatically adjusts depending on the time of day to reduce its energy consumption . Moreover , its shower heads and taps limit waterflow to reduce the hotel ’ s water usage , helping build a greener future .
