Louisa Daley explores what Qasar Al Watan Palace has to o� fer event organisers and visitors asar Al Watan Palace , also known as The Palace of the Nation , is the official meeting space of the United Arab Emirates Cabinet and the Federal Supreme Council as well as The Presidential Banquet .
The palace consists of three key colours : white , blue and yellow to symbolise the region ’ s landscape alongside the desert , sky and sea .
Offering 380,000 sqm of event space , the palace not only offers visitors a unique and special location to host their event , but it also provides them with an educational tour which explores Emirati and Arabian culture and governance .
The educational tour is divided into nine zones , including : History Made During the Year of Tolerance , A Memory from the Palace , Presidential Gifts , A Celebration of Acceptance , House of Knowledge and Qasr Al Watan Library . The Great Hall , Spirit of Collaboration and The Presidential Banquet are included in these zones and are the palace ’ s main meeting and event spaces .

space . The Hall ’ s most striking feature is its central dome , which stands 60m above the ground and boasts a diameter of 37m . The Hall also is complete with handcrafted archways , mosaic patterns and mirrored cubes .
The Spirit of Collaboration is mainly used to host summits and can welcome up to 900 guests . Previously , the Federal Supreme Council , the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council have set agendas and held meetings in this event space . Its circular style and open theatre layout are designed to ensure all visitors can communicate and see each other clearly . The Spirit of Collaboration ’ s chandelier is another key feature , as its circular shape aims to symbolise the United Arab Emirate ’ s commitment to illumination and equality .
Finally , The Presidential Banquet offers the ideal space for event organisers to host stately banquets . The space can welcome up to 300 guests and is complete with collections of silver , crystals and china for an added sense of luxury .
