In five years’ time: I hope to be in a role that allows me to contribute my skill
set directly and precisely, to improve the efficiency and organisation of whichever
company I’m in. I want to be using my experience in events and media to bring
live and experiential concepts to life. I hope that I am seen as a mentor to my team
and that I will have helped many people to progress in their careers.

“They say that you should learn to walk before you can run but why walk
when you can run?! After only tow years after graduating with a first class
honors in event management, Jacqueline is responsible for delivering events
all over the globe whilst managing a team of two. She is not afraid to face
a challenge head on and even when the going gets tough, continues to
maintain a positive attitude.
In five years’ time: I will be an events delivery and sustainability director
within KNect365. With a passion for sustainability, I will initiate a number
of changes which will ensure our events are more forward thinking than our
competitors. This is will be done by running environmentally-friendly events,
working with producers to encourage more women to be at the forefront of
our panels and discussions.

CloserStill Media, Group Marketing Manager
“Within a month after she joined us I had moved Charlotte onto social media for
the London Vet Show (LVS), seeing that she had great potential. Over the past five
years, she has gone from marketing assistant on LVS to group marketing manager
across the ever-expanding vet portfolio and runs a team of three people. She is a
pleasure to have around and now a very senior member of my brilliant team.”
In five years’ time: I will be working to develop strategic partnerships that enable
us to launch further veterinary events in new markets. As well as leading a brilliant
team who just as passionate about educating veterinary professionals globally as I
am. This will hopefully lead to be becoming a marketing director at CloserStill.
