So I contacted them and said ‘ would you be interested in a licence ?’ So that ’ s how it started . They ’ re well known in the fashion industry and set up the Postcards from Midlife podcast during Covid . They have had about four million downloads in the last couple of years . I watched that growth and thought it was interesting and would make good business sense .

Whist preparing for the first edition , Cooper is philosophical about the launch , self-deprecatingly describing the whole concept as “ probably crazy ” adding “ I like to do things that haven ’ t been done .”
If her previous nose for a good idea is anything to go by , it seems bound to be a success .

“ The idea was to create a boutique events , you want to have a space that looks and feels nice . So one of the things was , do we go to a big exhibition hall or do we try and find a really cool venue ? The BDC for us was a natural place that didn ’ t feel like a huge exhibition hall , and we could make it feel designer . She adds that the venue ’ s sustainable credentials also chime well with their
