More than 6,000 attendees including global business leaders , NGOs , academics , governments , UN agencies , investors and the media attended the Climate Action Innovation Zone exhibition running alongside COP 27 . UK-based organisers Climate Action created the largest innovation ecosystem at COP27 as a platform to enable the public and private sector to engage , collaborate and turn net zero ambitions into action . The 6,000 sqm purpose-built venue offered a multitude of event spaces showcasing more than 50 exhibitors and 300 speakers and 6,000 attendees . With a content schedule including world leaders and the launch of innovative products to improve the sustainability of the events industry , Innovation Zone event director Soraya Gadelrab said she was proud of the ‘ incredibly hard work ’ that saw the event come together in Sharm El-Sheikh in November despite a number of challenges .
