Birth to 5 Matters is non-statutory guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage ( EYFS ), created by a coalition of organisations and people who work within the sector and therefore have firsthand experience and knowledge of successful childcare practice . On the Saturday at Childcare & Education Expo Midlands , we have four speakers from the Birth to 5 Matters coalition delivering a panel session on the guidance and effective delivery of the new EYFS . We are really excited about this as we think it will be a great follow on from the online panel discussion we previously held at one of our Virtual Summits when the guidance was introduced .
