The Exhibition News Awards (ENAs) will return to
Evolution London, Battersea Park on 9 October to
showcase outstanding achievement within the UK
and global exhibitions industry.
Despite the judges having
done their work and the
shortlist published (see over
the page), EN is delighted
to announce that there’s
further chances to stand on
the winner’s rostrum, as we
present four new categories
for you to enter!
The following four
categories will reward
activity over the past few
months. It’s an opportunity
for your company to achieve
recognition for hard work
carried out during the UK
lockdown to ensure that the
exhibitions industry returns
stronger.
the company or individual
who has implemented the
most impressive fundraising
initiative during the Covid
lockdown. Judges will be
looking for key information
on charity or charities
supported, amount raised,
number of participants,
engagement with
communities and charity
feedback.
3) Best Event Supplier Safety
Product Development
This award will recognise
the supplier company that
has developed the most
impressive product or
range of products that will
help events run safely post
lockdown. Judges will be
looking at key, new product
development that help
organisers and exhibitors,
venues, exhibitors and
attendees enjoy safe events.
Aspects to consider will be
on site sanitisation, health
checks, technology and
signage and way-finding that
allow for contactless use.
4) Best One-off or series of virtual
events
This category is open to
any one-off or series of
digital events held between
March and September
2020. Organisers will be
assessed on their ability
to meet event objectives,
produce innovative content
and marketing campaigns,
commercial performance
and demonstrate viewer and
sponsor satisfaction.
Entrants are asked to
nominate themselves by
addressing the criteria in a
maximum of 1,500 words.

This award will recognise
the venue that has developed
the most impressive plan
for how to run safe events
post lockdown. Judges
will be looking at key, new
initiatives that the venue has
developed to help organisers
and exhibitors enjoy safe
events. Aspects to consider
will be on site sanitisation,
plans for social distancing
within the show halls and
theatres, signage and wayfinding,
upgrades to onsite
catering and general hygiene
plans for the venue.
2) Best Covid Lockdown
Fundraising Initiative
This award will recognise
