Due to the value and high levels of activity on surrounding stand the exhibitor wanted this exhibit delivered as late as possible for installation. CEVA’s heavy lift experts were called in to devise a safe route of passage, and a complex lifting plan. Another extremely large exhibit, a 12 tonne subsea vessel was also challenging to get to a stand. After liaising with the onsite health and safety team, to ensure the most effective route was selected CEVA’s heavy lift team produced a method statement, which saw a 16 tonne forktruck supported by an expert banksman carefully navigate the gangways through the busy hall to its final stand destination.
