Hi, I’m Delphine, ExCeL’s Training Centre
Manager and our Sustainability Co-ordinator.
I’ve come to realise it’s the small changes
made by lots of people that make a difference
to our impact on the environment. Take our
water fountains, collectively by refilling rather
than buying, our visitors have saved over
100,000 single use plastic bottles, this year.
Managing the smaller events at ExCeL brings
me into contact with hundreds of different
organisers. I’ve noticed there is a genuine
desire to reduce waste. By working together,
we’re helping our customers to understand
how they can recycle more and reduce surplus
food. Next time you come to ExCeL, I’d be
delighted to show how you we’re making
events hosted with us more sustainable.
