EN Indy
Awards
F
riday 11 October saw the 2 nd EN Indy
awards take place at the Honourable
Artillery Company in London. The
event was packed to the rafters,
following an 88% rise in entries, with
hundreds of professionals coming
together to celebrate the independent
industry.
Saul Leese, editor of EN, opened the
event with a speech highlighting plans
for future issues of the magazine, and
commending independents for showing
dedication, passion and an unrivalled
‘street level’ understanding of their
respective markets.
Leese said of the EN Indy Awards:
“What an incredible event. The quality
of entries for this year’s awards was
outstanding and we were significantly
up on last year proving that this event is
much needed by the independent sector.
The event was so much fun and I’m sure
there were quite a few people nursing
hangovers. This event the jewel in our
crown and I want to see it continue to
grow, so please spread the word”.
Portfolio director Duncan Siegle
added: “We’d also like to thank our
headline and category sponsors without
whom this event would not be possible
– so a huge ‘thank you’ to Circdata,
beMatrix and The NEC – as well as See
Tickets for the winners’ champagne and
The SEC for their Gindy sponsorship.
We’d also like to thank SEARCY for the
excellent catering they provided. And
our final thanks to Steve Monnington
and his team at Mayfield Merger
Strategies for supporting the event.”
