Akkroo acquired by
US-based Integrate in
$34m deal
Event lead management
company Akkroo has been
acquired by US-based
company Integrate in a
deal worth US$34m.
Akkroo provides a
solution for lead collection
which gives power to B2B
marketers by letting them
collect leads at any trade
show or event using the
Akkroo iOS and Android
app. Having launched in
2013, the company has
doubled revenue every
year since 2014.
Integrate’s customers will
now be able to benefit from
Akkroo’s way of capturing
and processing event
leads in real time, helping
personalise the lead
follow-up and accelerate
pipeline-to-revenue from
in-person trade shows.
The acquisition will see
the team grow to 250+
people, with Akkroo
customers benefiting from
an enhanced US presence
and investment into
product, engineering and
customer success.
“Revenue acceleration
happens when you unify
the top of funnel,” said
Jeremy Bloom, founder
and CEO of Integrate.
“With this acquisition,
we have now integrated
one of the largest and
most-leveraged demand
marketing channels that
historically has the least
amount of ROI visibility.
“With Integrate and
Akkroo, our customers will
understand how in-person
events contribute to
pipeline and revenue while
having access to a best-
in-class, global solution
for collecting, processing
and managing event leads
at scale.”

London Yacht Show cancels 2019 edition
The London Yacht Show
has cancelled its 2019
edition, and says it is
‘rescheduling’ to 2020.
The organisers say the
delay is to “ensure the
delivery of a high quality
on-water show, with the
scale and breadth to attract
full participation of the
industries it is aimed at.”
The event was previously
rebranded to the London
Yacht Show from the
London On Water Show,
with a heavier focus on the
high-end boating and luxury
goods market.
The London Yacht Show
was scheduled to take place
on 8-12 May 2019.
Andrew Williams, president
of Maritime Group, said:
“Since an initial burst of
interest in the London Yacht
Show, take-up has slowed
from some segments of the
industry and from luxury
brands.
“And so, with just over
a month to go until the
planned launch, overall
commitment to the event
is not at the level required
to deliver a show with the
profile, scale and market
breadth the industry asked
for and deserves in London.
“Following extensive
consultation with key
stakeholders, we therefore
believe it is in everyone’s
interest to postpone the
show until next year.
“We are all now very
focused on delivering a
great event and experience
in 2020, creating a unique
experience for visitors and
a leading UK showcase
for exhibitors within the
growing, international
yachting, boating and luxury
markets.”
