Details for Publishing Show confirmed

The Publishing Show will go ahead on 22-23 June , organiser Mash Media has confirmed . The event , which has evolved from 2020 ’ s Making Publishing Pay conference , will take place at ExCeL London . The format sees a two-day conference return , running alongside an exhibition , and will co-locate with International Confex and the PA Show . The event ’ s director , Ralph Collett , said sustainable digital progression and integration is becoming “ front and centre ” of strategic planning across publishing and media , and that for most it is essential for the survival of many publishers . “ The Publishing Show is being designed exclusively for leaders within the industry to meet and hear from their peers and gain a comprehensive view of the technology available to help them on this journey ,” he said . Collett added that it was important to co-locate with International Confex as publishers are increasingly turning to events as a medium towards new revenue streams . He also noted that the show ’ s agenda was being steered by an advisory board . “ We are honoured to have such a wealth of experience helping us shape this year ’ s event ,” said Collet . Andrew Bloch , founder of Andrew Bloch and Associates and a member of the advisory board , noted that as the pace of technology increases , it is “ more important than ever ” for the industry to come together to network , listen , and learn . “ The next two to three years is a critical period for the publishing industry ,” he said . Meanwhile , fellow advisory board member Ashanti Bentil-Dhue , CEO of EventMind and co-founder of Diversity Ally , added that the industry is “ at a junction ”, and that it was time to embrace change and take the best of what has gone before . “ It ’ s time for fresh ideas and to build sustainability into publishing businesses ,” she said . Pre-registration is now open .
