Owned by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, Lincolnshire Showground is ‘committed to delivering diverse events and services that are accessible for all to enjoy’. Originally built in the 1960s for Lincolnshire Agricultural Society members, the Exhibition Hall has been used predominately for education-based events, hosting 752 in the last 10 years alone and being visited by over 7,000 people in the last 12 months. Construction works have now started on the existing building, which will fully renovate and modernise the 1,623sqm space. Due for completion in May this year, the EXO Centre works will utilise the current framework of the building, but will completely renovate the entrance and reception area, main hall, multi-functional educational space, satellite kitchen and toilet facilities. Sustainability is at the heart of the new build. Eco-friendly features include the installation of interior and exterior LED lighting, with the latter having movement detection and daylight shut off, thermal glazing, new insulation to increase U-value and Cedar cladding to the exterior of the building. of event creators use paid Facebook ads Tarsus moves into beauty sector The global B2B media group has today announced that it has formed a joint venture with the innovative beauty event series, Unfiltered Experience. Tarsus Group has closed six deals in sectors in the same number of months, including travel, space technology, tyres, 3D glass and now the independent beauty sector. The US-based event was launched last July. Unfiltered Experience’s approach to events has garnered attention for not only connecting brands and buyers directly, but also for its strong links with social and media influencers. The next edition of Unfiltered is set to take place at Tarsus Group’s OFFPRICE show, 3-6 February at the Sands Convention Center, Las Vegas. The deal represents the latest addition to the Tarsus Group since its acquisition by Charterhouse Capital Partners last year.
