Silverstone
Known for being the
current home of the British
Grand Prix (which it first
hosted in 1948), Silverstone
Circuit is also a unique event
venue.
The Silverstone Wing is
Silverstone Circuit’s flagship
exhibitions, events and
conference venue, situated
in the heart of the Grand
Prix circuit. Set in over 600
acres of land along with
four circuits, the Silverstone
Wing has much to offer.
The venue has three main
halls, all 1050sqm in size,
and each with their own
mezzanine floor of around
450sqm, with views of the
Grand Prix circuit. Hall
1 has a ramp and vehicle
access, and there can be
interconnecting access
through to Hall 2 and Hall
3. Silverstone also offers
two smaller halls, Hall 4 and
Hall 5. Hall 4 is 460sqm,
and is set at the highest
point of the building. With
a soundproofed partition, it
can be used independently
or as a continuation of Hall
5, which is 910sqm and is
adjoined to the roof terrace.
Silverstone additionally
has four pit garages located
underneath the halls of the
Silverstone Wing, offering
5768sqm of space, and full
HGV access. For smaller
meetings and events, the
venue also has many other
options including the
58 — March
International Media Centre,
the Business Centre, the
Auditorium, Race Admin, the
British Racing Drivers’ Club,
the Stowe Complex, the
Stowe Apron, the Experience
Centre, and the Brooklands
Suite. These alternatives
come in a range of sizes,
from two to 200 people.
Located between London
and Birmingham, Silverstone
is easily access by road and
rail, with much of the UK
within a three-hour drive.
Summer 2020 will mark
the opening of the Hilton
Garden Inn, a brand-new
hotel which will overlook the
track and the International
start/finish line, with direct
access via tunnel to the
Silverstone Wing.
Stadium MK
Stadium MK contains
three possibilities for event
organisers; DoubleTree
by Hilton Milton Keynes,
Marshall Arena and the
Stadium’s main bowl.
Stadium MK is also home
to MK Dons Sports and
Stadium MK
Education Trust and Milton
Keynes Dons Football Club.
The venue has a total of
5,993sqm of event space,
22 conference and event
spaces, 304 bedrooms, a
30,530 capacity stadium,
1,450 on-site parking spaces,
two onsite restaurants, an
in-house catering team, in-
house AV specialists and 1GB
internet.
Stadium MK receives
10m visitors each year and
has hosted events such as
televised sports, concerts
