Welcome
A new
chapter
Y
ou might notice something a little bit different about EN this
month. We’re sleeker, leaner and we’ve had a design refresh.
While much of the content will remain the same – we’ll still be
covering the latest shows, innovative, game-changing tech, evolving
venues and the some of the broader issues that impact on the
exhibition industry – we’ve also got some new strings to add to our
bow.
In this month’s cover feature (p20) we meet the leadership team
behind Nineteen Group, an organiser that has just received an
injection of private equity investment, and which has big plans for
the future.
We’re also looking to the future in this month’s EN Roundtable
(p34), which gathered together organisers, venues, suppliers and
associations to learn how various businesses in the industry are
preparing for Brexit.
EN is dedicated to providing thought leadership and insight on
issues across the industry, and I hope that this redesign will help
convey that in an easily accessible, colourful and interesting way.
As we enter a new chapter in the life of the exhibition industry’s
go-to trade magazine, I’d like to encourage readers to get in touch
and join the conversation – tell us what we’re doing right (and
wrong) and what you’d like to see more of in the future.
If you’re reading this at International Confex, then come and
say hi! I’ll be on the EN Pavilion hosting content and meeting the
industry across both days, and I rarely bite.
Enjoy the issue,
Nicola
