Marshall Arena, Stadium:MK, Buckinghamshire Stadium:MK was opened in 2007 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and is a 30,530-seat stadium in Milton Keynes, and home to MK Dons Football Club. Adjoining the stadium is the largest indoor space in the area: the Marshall Arena, which opened its doors in 2014 to host the National Badminton Championships. Getting around The main road transport routes are along the M1 through Buckinghamshire; M40 through Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire; M4 through Berkshire and Buckinghamshire; the M2 motorway/A2 and M20 through Kent; the M23 through Surey and West Sussex; the M3 through Surrey and Hampshire. All these routes connect to the M25. The A34 provides a northsouth road link through Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Hampshire. The east-west corridor through the south of the region is provided by the A27 and the M27. The main intercontinental airport is Gatwick Airport, with regional airports at Shoreham and Southampton. Heathrow Airport is in Greater London but also serves the South East region. It also contains some impressive natural and manmade landmarks, including the North Downs, Chiltern Hills, New Forest, Blenheim Palace, Windsor Castle, Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral, Hammerwood Park and Wakehurst Place.
