Partner content simplifying the process – but it ’ s also about reducing the manual labour that is required . So , less chasing , less miscommunication , less repetition .
From an organiser perspective time is very important . There are also revenue stream options , so the organiser can make money from the Vendr platform – they can take a transaction fee of all orders that go through the system and that can only be done with full transparency .
So , the organiser benefit is revenue and transparency . From a supplier perspective , because every exhibitor has to complete their online manual , they ’ re getting greater exposure and will sell more as a consequence . And because we make buying so easy , they should also an increase in their own sales for any given show .
Is there anything like this on the marketplace , and how does the pricing structure work ?
There are other online manuals on the market , but Taskd is the only one I ’ ve seen with such a focus on user experience , both from the exhibitor and organiser perspective . We keep all the complicated stuff under the hood , so the user experience is beautifully simple . I also haven ’ t seen anything as effective at cutting down the event organisers ’ workload , it ’ s hard work getting what
Adam Jones you need out of all your exhibitors , and Taskd drives results that mean less effort . Taskd ’ s pricing structure is a simple , per show subscription fee .
Vendr on the other hand is truly unique . It ’ s what the event industry has needed for a long time . Organisers can invite their trusted suppliers onto a single platform to sell their goods and services to the exhibitors of that organiser ’ s shows . This means that exhibitors get an Amazon-style buying experience , where they can buy multiple products from many suppliers in one simple transaction . It ’ s simpler for the exhibitor , more transparent for the organiser , with the upside of a new revenue stream , and suppliers sell more . The pricing model for Vendr is a blend of a subscription fee per show and a small transaction fee on orders .
Finally , what are you most looking forward to when the industry fully reopens ?
I ’ m looking forward to a new-found appreciation of event technology and hope that exhibition organisers continue to realise the huge role it plays in the growing success of their events . I ’ m hoping for an event industry platform revolution that will make us all more productive , transparent , flexible , sustainable , scalable and , probably most apt right now , resilient to the unknown . I ’ m also looking forward to getting out to some exhibitions , International Confex , Event Tech Live and obviously the London Dessert Festival , it ’ s time we all had some cake , we deserve it .
