Outside the Box Premier’s Premiere DRPG on delivering all-round results in a true collaboration with Premier Paper at Sign & Digital UK Tell us about the feature In April, integrated communications company DRPG helped produce a stand for the Sign & Digital UK at the NEC, for client Premier Paper it was an all singing all dancing movie themed stand, to celebrate the launch of Premier Paper’s latest products within their display graphics department. On the stand they created a three-day movie themed expo including live actors playing movie stars, concession stands selling popcorn, movie posters and AR experiences and more and was preceded, and followed up, by a full social media marketing campaign including custom- made animations and follow up event coverage videos. Why was it made? The expo was a celebration of the range of products available through Premier Paper and a chance to exhibit their new line with all materials used supplied directly by Premier Paper. What was the process of creating it? Bringing together many complex elements the process was all-inclusive, from live event management – ensuring the seamless running of the 46 — July stand build and delivery on the day – to comms planning and executing the event, to digital involved in data capture. Print, of course, played a vital role in the process working with Premier Paper to create all the on the ground material used at the expo. With DRPG’s new printers arriving just ahead of execution, it was a baptism of fire and under pressure the printers performed perfectly despite a hefty workload. The video team were on site for the second day generating footage which has been shared across social media and on Premier Paper’s website and in their email campaigns while live graphics made animations to promote the event on social media. Why do you consider it special? What is special about this project is that it encompassed all areas of the creative process and was a true collaboration of every department in the business. The planning and execution of the event called on industry expertise from digital, print, live event, comms, video and so on. Not only was it a celebration of all things Premier Paper, but it was a testament to the diverse creative capabilities and supreme flexibility of such a fully integrated creative communications company. The expo was a huge success, achieving and surpassing all objectives, generating a high footfall and 240 new business leads, and has ensured a long-term relationship between DRPG and Premier Paper, with a launch event already booked in for later in the year.
