Cvent acquires
DoubleDutch
Cvent has announced
that it has acquired event
management software
provider DoubleDutch,
based in San Francisco.
The acquisition of
DoubleDutch highlights
Cvent’s investment in the
mobile technology space
and will complement the
company’s signature
mobile event app and
onsite solution capabilities.

EN Indy Awards 2019
opens for entries
Entries are open for
the second edition of
the EN Indy Awards, an
awards launched by EN to
celebrate the UK’s smaller,
independent exhibition
organisers.
The EN Indys are open
to organising companies
with a turnover of less than
£7.5m, or to companies
for whom exhibitions
contribute less than £7.5m
per annum.
They will be held for
the second time at the
Honourable Artillery
Company in London on 11
October. The deadline for
entries is Friday 16 August.

an estimated 1,077
exhibitions hosted
by the UK’s main
exhibition venues
Tarsus Group to be acquired by Charterhouse
Tarsus Group is set to
be acquired by PE firm
Charterhouse, which sold
Comexposium in March
2019, for approximately
£561m.The terms of the
acquisition imply an
enterprise value of £668m.
Tarsus operates in the
United States and the
Americas, China, South East
Asia, the Middle East and
North Africa, Turkey and
Europe, in verticals including
aviation, medical, labels
and packaging, travel and
automotive.
It runs more than 160
events including Labelexpo,
Connect and the Dubai
Airshow.
