Social Distancing • Crowd Density Standard – Control the number of people at the event according to government guidance. • Registration – Minimise queuing and contact during entry by using contactless registration and badgeless entry. • Staggered Admission – Use time arrival and exit time slots for crowd control. • Enhanced Quality of Visitors – Target only the visitors you need at the event. • Floor Planning – Create visitor flow systems like those used in supermarkets. Increase aisle widths. • Visitor Transportation – Organisers can work with venues to ensure visitors travel to the event safely like using shuttle services. • Set Up and Break Down – Work with contractors to ensure they are wearing the correct PPE and ensure social distancing and hygiene is observed. • Conference Rooms – Space out seating, provide hygiene equipment and clean rooms between sessions. • Eliminating Handshakes – Organisers should tell visitors ‘No more handshaking’. • Food & Beverage – Serve pre-ordered food in pre-packaged format and arrange seating to observe social distancing guidelines. • Social Functions – Gatherings should observe government guidelines. • Monitoring & Control – Ensure teams are trained and on the lookout for anyone breaching social distancing regulations. 2. Cleaning and Hygiene • Venue Enhanced Cleaning – Venues to provide adequate cleaning prior to moving in and before the event opens. • Cleaning Regime – Use visible cleaning staff that particular focus cleaning on key touch points like restrooms, F&B areas and help points like entrances. • Stand Cleaning – Ask exhibitors to regularly clean their stands and try to avoid promotional material. • Hand Washing Sanitiser – Provide washing facilities like hand sanitiser stations. • Waste Management – Provide specific waste bins for used masks. • Conference and Seminar Rooms – Clean all equipment, like microphones, between use. • Venue Ambient Environmental Controls – Ensure there is ventilation, temperatures, humidity, UV air purification and clean all ventilation filters etc. 3. Protect & Detect • Contact Tracing – Keep all data of visitors to the event for at least 21 days through registration or Apps used at the event. The more trackable data you can provide the better. • Face Masks – Ask all visitors and exhibitors to wear face masks now that it is a requirement. • Enhanced First Aid & Medical Support – Organisers can offer an increased number of first aid stations with enhanced medical support. • Separation Screens – Where social distancing cannot be maintained use separation screens or barriers to separate people. • PPE – You should tell visitors and exhibitors to bring their own PPE because this may be limited. • Emergency Response Plans – Organisers should follow government guidelines on how to respond to a possible case and decontamination: www.gov.uk/government/ publications/covid19- decontamination-innon-healthcaresettings/ covid-19- decontamination-innonhealthcare-settings • Covid-19 Alert Level – Communicate the current infection rate to visitors to help them feel more confident about entering the event and able to make informed decisions about attending. 4. Communication • Show website Apps, email & SMS – Communicate that you have followed the All Secure Standard with potential visitors and exhibitors. • Exhibitor Manuals – Integrate the All Secure Standard into the manuals. • Event Signage – Use appropriate signage helping visitors to identify if they have symptoms. • Public Addresses During Show – Ensure that visitors receive regular notifications throughout the event around safety guidelines. • Pre-Show Messaging – Keep visitors up to date with any important health information or developments as well as reminding them to bring face masks etc. August — 21
