The importance of mining is definitely significant. Mining is an important industry. Governors and miners have advanced their mining technology and ensure there is a smooth running industry, worldwide. Mining is a way to make the majority of your life and lifestyle possible. However, in many people's eyes, mining seems to be positive, and if not positive, then they see mining as a negative thing.
Moreover, mining plays a big role in your everyday life. Minerals and precious stones that are sourced through mining, are used to create everyday products, such as beauty products, vitamins, soaps, shampoo, toothpaste and even household medicines. "So from the time you wake each morning to the time you have your breakfast; mining has already played a big part in your day," states Russell Taylor, a mining expert.
Furthermore, many countries have experienced considerable national economic development as a result of mining. According to Helen Fitzgerald, a mining expert, mining operations on a large scale usually invest money in the reports education, infrastructure development and other community services. Yet small-scale mining employs almost 13 million people worldwide.
Unfortunately, there is a negative side to mining. Based on Helen Fitzgerald's research, outdoor mining is a method in which layers of soil from the surface of Earth are being slowly disappeared. The physical beauty of the mountains, which humans have found inspiring long time ago, are being destroyed, and with them, old cemeteries, archaeological sites and many other cultural and aesthetic treasures.
We can conclude that mining plays an important role in todays life. We can see how developed counties got all benefits from mining. Usually the places where mining starts creates jobs, help the community and the infrastructure development. However, it seems that mining is destroying our planet. We can continue educating people so they are aware of the consequences mining can cause, and can take into account of doing small activities that will impact the planet.
