EDITOR ’ S LETTER

WINTER ISSUE 2022
Two issues down for me now and I ’ m delighted to continue to celebrate 30 years of Executive PA Magazine with the rest of the team and you , our dedicated readers . Once again , we ’ ve delved into the subject on page 18 and this time I ’ ve got talking to the bosses of EAs and others who may not do the role but know it inside out . I ’ d love to hear what you think …
On that note , there ’ s nothing I love more than profiling our incredible readers and we ’ ve got two of your wonderful colleagues lined up for Recognition ( page 22 ) and the Profile ( page 50 ). First up , you ’ ll meet Executive PA Awards winner Lily North who has gone from EA to business owner then you check in with Cathryn Smith , PA at WSP , who was forced out of her comfort zone by a mid-pandemic acquisition .
Looking to add a little fun to your next teambuilding or client event ? Make sure you head to page 26 to discover how great a day on the Great Barrier Reef could be . Meanwhile , get ready to fall in love with Melbourne all over again . On page 44 , Brad Foster explores the Melbourne Convention Bureau ’ s new interactive e-guide designed to
connect event planning EAs with some inspiring new and undiscovered experiences in the city .
Finally , we have some exciting new writers in our professional development section . It starts on page 52 … Enjoy !
Until next time , I hope you love the issue !
