Who is Trump ’ s new chief of staff ?
At the time of writing , Susan Summerall Wiles has just been announced as US President-elect Donald Trump ’ s White House chief of staff . Previously his campaign manager , she will begin the new role when he takes over the presidency next year .
Trump said in a statement that she “ just helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history ” and “ is tough , smart , innovative , and is universally admired and respected ”. He added that “ it is a well-deserved honour to have Susie as the first-ever female chief of staff in United States history ” and said he had no doubt that she would make the country proud .
