Pullman Auckland unveils refurbishment
Following a refurbishment across its guest rooms and public areas , Pullman Hotel Auckland has unveiled its new look . Each of the 276 rooms and suites in the hotel tower now feature new beds and Nespresso machines , while the forecourt and reception area have been completely transformed .
And did you know the hotel boasts one of the largest conference facilities in Auckland ? There are 16 function spaces , including a grand ballroom and a dedicated exhibition floor – that ’ s more than 3,000sqm of event space all together .
But there ’ s more – Tapestry Bar & Grill , located on the lobby level of the hotel , is helmed by executive chef Johnny Roullier with a menu specialising in dry-aged beef and grill . And the hotel ’ s Luxe Spa has a sun terrace , a 25m heated indoor lap pool , a sauna , a steam room , a spa pool and some state-of-the-art fitness equipment – perfect for chilling out post-meeting or getting energised before a big event .

Rendezvous Melbourne unveils new ballroom
In the heart of the city , Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne has debuted its newlook ballroom and conference space . The King Edward Ballroom ( named following a visit by Prince Edward in 1920 ) originally had distinctive wood panelling which was later removed .
But now the room has been fully refurbished and restored , which means a welcome return of the elegant panelling .
The space is ready for modern day demands too , however , with the renovation team installing dual-130-inch data projection screens and HD projectors , as well as state-ofthe-art lighting , Bluetooth connectivity , surround sound capability , sound proofing and hidden rigging points that give you the opportunity to personalise the space without disrupting guest views . Hosting a big event ? You will love the ballroom , which now has LED lighting in the roof , offering a spectrum of up to 3000 colours to match any brand ’ s theme .
Hotel general manager Joseph Stipo said the latest refurbishments have come off the back of a multi-milliondollar hotel renovation in 2022 , which saw the rooms , lobby and restaurant space in the Melbourne property restored to its turn-of-the-century origins . S
