There are also three new meeting rooms here , which can collectively host 370 delegates . w A large , undercover Porte Cochere planted with native and tropical flora , which has a real sense of arrival – the perfect place to greet guests . It is highly flexible , however , so could be a great outdoor exhibition area as well as a gathering space . Your boss will love the unique immersion with the landscape here , which will let your delegate experience the tropics in a distinct way . w Cairns Convention Centre ’ s auditorium , arena and existing meeting rooms benefited from a full redevelopment . w The standout feature has to be the show-stopping new addition : the Trinity Room and Terrace level , which offers unparalleled views over Trinity Inlet . The tech update The renewed Cairns Convention Centre features a state-of-the-art AV upgrade , ensuring there is innovative technology at your fingertips during your meetings and events . That means all meeting spaces are outfitted with cameras that have pan , tilt , and zoom control features , as well as AV control and built-in preview monitors ( great for easy reference to presentation notes ). Plus leading-edge laser projectors will ensure your visual content is presented in sharp , high resolution .
