Tourism Australia Managing Director , Phillipa Harrison will kick off The Presentation Zone where she will share Tourism Australia ’ s current activities and the latest initiatives being undertaken for the business events community . This will be directly followed by The Hon John Sharp AM , Deputy Chairman , Rex Airlines , who will share Rex ’ s strategy and future plans for domestic aviation in Australia .
The Saxton Showcase will feature serial entrepreneur , Lisa Messenger ; award-winning producer and presenter of the Health Report , Dr Norman Swan ; and adventurer , traveller and master storyteller , Caroline Pemberton , who will also emcee .
On Tuesday 15 February , Get Local will kick off with a GET Together welcome event at Doltone House Darling Island . Other networking functions at Get Local include the GET Networking Lunch presented by ICC Sydney . And closing out the show is the GET Happy Cocktail party . Tickets are strictly limited and only available to registered attendees and exhibitors .

Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event ( AIME ), the leading meetings and conventions event in the Asia Pacific region , has announced CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park as the official venue to host its 2022 Welcome Event , to be held on 21 March 2022 . The new venue will welcome domestic delegates ( from across Australia and New Zealand ) to fuel meaningful connections and re-energise the business events and tourism industry .
