Sofitel to undergo multi-million dollar renovation

The Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa is undertaking a multi-million dollar renovation. The transformation will include a new bar, events and meetings room as well as the first executive lounge offering in New Zealand’ s South Island, which will act as a functional business space with complimentary wi-fi. The new conference venue, La Galerie, is capable of comfortably seating up to 70, with first class technology on offer, including an in-built AV system, drop down screen, HD projector and Bluetooth lapel microphone capabilities. Guests can also enjoy premium quality accommodation amenities, including 70 superior and luxury rooms, 10 prestige suites and two penthouse suites, all in the heart of Queenstown.
Parkroyal gets $ 25 million makeover
Western Sydney’ s largest hotel, the Parkroyal Parramatta, has marked its 30th birthday with a $ 25 million renovation. Featuring a new seven storey tower and the region’ s first hotel Club Lounge and Club Rooms, the freshly refurbished Parkroyal promises to give business travellers a new level of accommodation, dining, meeting and event experiences in the Parramatta CBD.

High rise haven to be revamped
The Four Seasons Hotel has announced plans to renovate the executive club, transforming the exclusive level 32 venue into a luxury residential-style retreat overlooking Sydney Harbour. Set to re-open in December, it will boast an extended private entrance, new furnishings and locally sourced Australian produce and wines.

Mantra to open in Albury

Mantra Group is to open a new hotel in early 2018 in Albury. The new $ 51 million dollar Sofitel Wellington boasts 129 rooms and suites as well as business essentials such as complimentary wifi for multiple devices and smart TVs with bluetooth. The hotel also houses‘ The Green Room’ lounge and bar, Jardin Grill restaurant, as well as state-of-the-art technology across three meeting and event venues.
