favourite picks for dining in Brisbane
CORPORATE DINING
Blackbird Bar and Grill
1
Open for two years, Blackbird bar and Grill is one of Brisbane’s top dining
and drinking venues. With sweeping views of The Story Bridge and the Brisbane
River, the lavishly designed Gatsby inspired cocktail lounge will transport you into
a timeless setting. I always feel like I am in a movie set when dining there. Modern
Australian dining meets a Mediterranean influence; Blackbird has a beautiful menu
with seafood and meat dishes that will certainly exceed expectations. It’s also a great
spot for private functions.

Aria Brisbane
Owners Matt Moran and Bruce
Solomon have managed to perfectly integrate
the famous ARIA brand to suit Brisbane’s laid-
back attitude. At ARIA you will receive incredible
service in a stunning setting overlooking The
Brisbane River. The award winning wine list will
see the sommelier match your wines perfectly to
any dish on the seasonal menu. The pork belly
entree is an absolute must.

Nestled in the ever-popular James street precinct in Fortitude Valley,
Gerard’s bistro has a lot to boast about. The Middle Eastern influence on their
menu gives customers a unique dining experience like no other in Brisbane. With
an emphasis on share plates, it’s the perfect spot for a group who love to try unique
dishes. The roasted wagyu brisket is something you just have to try and if you’re
really adventurous, go for the lamb tagine. A dish they often get a lot of feedback
about, particularly the lamb’s brains crusted in fragrant morcilla, tahina and yoghurt.

LONgTIME
LONgTIME is always packed out. This
very trendy Thai restaurant has an incredible
atmosphere right in the heart of Brisbane’s buzzing
Fortitude Valley. The perfect location for a high
quality meal before heading out on the town with
a group of friends. Also a great place for larger
bookings. The banquet menu is very well price. Highly
recommended for late night dining, especially if it’s
a spontaneous decision to grab a bite to eat. You will
remember your experience here for a ‘long time’

Jellyfish – Eagle Street Pier
Jellyfish on Eagle street pier is the
quintessential seafood restaurant on absolute riverfront
dining. Jellyfish’s fate was uncertain after they were
underwater following the Brisbane floods, but they
pulled through to remain one of Brisbane’s finest quality
seafood restaurants firmly showing Brisbane they are
here to stay. Their crispy fried baby barramundi (served
whole) easily is a top contender for my favourite dish of
all time. Jellyfish is for the sophisticated individual who
insists on only the best quality.
