From the Veuve on arrival, to the tour of the event spaces and hotel rooms, to the canapés and cocktails at the conclusion of the tour, everything was simply sensational!” Kerrilee Ross, NSW Government Planning & Environment On Thursday 14 March, Executive PA Media Members came together at the Glass Brasserie wine bar in Hilton Sydney, to share cocktails and canapés before heading off on a fully-guided tour of the hotel’s abundant event, conference and accommodation offerings. While members were enjoying the food and sipping on complimentary glasses of Veuve champagne and What the organisers had to say… “A great opportunity to connect with a variety of EAs & PAs! We were able to showcase a large number of event spaces, making it easy to paint the picture of what we can offer for future events. The event was definitely a success for the hotel and developing client relationships.” Blair Weir, Commercial Director, Hilton Sydney cocktails, Hilton Sydney’s Commercial Director, Blair Weir, gave a short welcome address and sent everyone off on their tours. Splitting into smaller groups, members were lead through the Hilton Sydney’s many event spaces, conference facilities, function rooms and accommodation suites. “We were able to showcase the best of the hotels meeting and events space and accommodation rooms. The group was truly wowed by the volume of varied offerings the hotel has to offer,” Blair said. After spending 40 minutes exploring the hotel and it’s features, the groups re-convened at the Zeta Bar. Looking out over Sydney’s iconic Queen Victoria Building, members were treated to more champagne, cocktails, and canapés. I had a meeting with our regional events team and I was able to contribute to the discussion as far as meeting floors and logistics. The Hilton was very generous with food and cocktails as well – but really, I was in it to check out the venue!” Cynthia Savage, Baker Mackenzie
