Breaking records in NZ
Cordis in Auckland is set to boast the
highest room count in the country,
with a total of 650 rooms and suites on
offer by 2020. But that’s not all – plans
are in place to add a new 400 square
metre room that will offer natural
light and multiple configurations,
allowing for more flexibility in hosting
special occasions and key events.
These developments, together with
the current event space that exceeds
2,000 square metres (including one
of New Zealand’s largest pillar-less
ballrooms), will certainly reinforce the
hotel’s position as the city’s leading
meetings and conference destination –
not to mention the fact that Cordis will
perfectly complement the New Zealand
International Convention Centre,
scheduled to open in the same year. S
