Executive Insights Program   The Executive Insights Program is a program where Sr. Executive Alumni “donate” 1.5 to 2 days of their time to come on-campus to inform students and the Business Career Centre staff about: • • • the “space” they work in; their firm and division; their career experience Executives will meet select students for casual conversations and/or mock interviews. Our target is to have 100 executive days per year (mostly through the fall and winter, limited summer). Program Outline   1. The Business Career Centre develops a list of days on which we would invite executives to come to campus 1.1. These dates are arrived at through dialogue with the various program offices. 1.2. The list of dates is managed by the Corporate Relationships Administrator. 1.3. The administrator provides all Corporate Relations staff with access to these dates 2. The Business Career Centre develops a list of students from each program who are willing to participate in this activity: 2.1. Could be random, could be by invitation only 3. The Corporate Relations team identifies executives who are willing to participate in the program. All members of the Corporate Relations team network with their closest contacts to promote this program. 4. Our Manager of Corporate Relations will administer the onboarding of the executives. 5. Participation will generally follow the following model: 5.1. A 2-hour group session with various representatives from the Business Career Centre. This would ideally take place either the night before, the evening after or the morning of the following day. 5.1.1.This Business Career Centre session is structured to inform the staff with regard to this industry, this company, talent recruiting and selection issues, etc. 5.2. A full day session with students from various programs including: 5.2.1.Various sessions with small groups, pairs, or individual students from any program 5.2.2.Includes sessions in both the morning and afternoon 5.2.3.A classroom-based presentation across the lunch hour on a topic such as: 5.2.3.1. TBD 6. The visit is debriefed with the executive shortly after. An alternative to the above model is that the executive teleconferences with the Business Career Centre team in advance, and then a van/bus load of students is processed at the executive’s location for a day.
